AX3000 dual-band access point

The Netgear WAX615PA-100NAS is a WiFi 6 access point built for indoor business environments. It supports up to 256 connected users across a coverage area of 2,750 sq ft. Management is handled through the Insight platform for simplified deployment.

3 Gbit/s aggregate throughput

Dual-band operation on 2.40 GHz and 5 GHz delivers a combined wireless transmission speed of 3 Gbit/s. A single 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port provides the wired uplink, so the wireless capacity can exceed a 1 Gbit/s backhaul without requiring link aggregation.

PoE+ power with wall or ceiling mount

The unit draws power from a PoE+ source or the included power adapter, compliant with IEEE 802.3at and 802.3af. An internal antenna design and the supplied mount kit allow discreet installation on walls or ceilings, while WPA3 and WPA3-Enterprise encryption standards secure the traffic.

Questions about this item

Will the 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port work with my existing Gigabit switch?

Yes, the 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port auto-negotiates down to 1 Gbit/s so it connects to any standard Gigabit switch without configuration.

How can I confirm the access point is delivering the 3 Gbit/s wireless speed after installation?

Use the Insight management app or web portal to view real-time client link rates and run a local throughput test between a Wi-Fi 6 device and a wired endpoint.

Does the box include a PoE+ injector or only the power adapter?

The package contains a US power adapter, wall/ceiling mount kit and installation guide; a PoE+ injector or PoE+ switch must be purchased separately.
