Professional Dual-Thrust Applicator

The Newborn 720AL-DT is a 20 oz sausage applicator built for contractors who switch between standard sealants and thick structural adhesives on the same jobsite. A simple knob turn selects either a 12:1 or 26:1 thrust ratio so one tool covers the full viscosity range without swapping equipment. The aluminum barrel rotates 360 degrees to keep the nozzle angled through corners and tight spaces. It weighs 2.45 lbs for comfortable extended use.

Sustained Load Behavior

The heat-treated drive rod and starburst pressure release plate maintain consistent pressure during long beads, preventing the fade common in lighter guns. The drip-free mechanism stops flow instantly when the trigger is released, reducing waste and cleanup between joints. The self-puncturing cone eliminates the need to pre-cut packs, keeping the workflow moving on large glazing or waterproofing runs. The ergonomic Gator trigger reduces hand fatigue over full-day applications.

Interface Practical Limits

The tool accepts only standard 20 oz foil sausage packs, so bulk cartridges or larger foil sizes will not fit. The dual-thrust knob covers the stated 12:1 and 26:1 ratios; materials requiring force outside that range need a different applicator. The 360-degree barrel rotation solves most angle constraints, but extremely confined cavities may still limit nozzle positioning. Built-in cutter and caulk plug handle standard pack prep without extra tools.

Questions about this item

How much force does the 26:1 thrust ratio generate when I run the applicator all day?

The 26:1 ratio multiplies your hand force twenty-six times, letting you extrude thick urethanes and structural adhesives with less fatigue during extended use.

What consumables must I already have to load this 20 oz sausage applicator?

You need standard 20 oz foil sausage packs; the self-puncturing cone eliminates the need for pre-cutting.

Will the 360-degree rotating barrel clear the corners on my older gutter jobs?

Yes, the barrel rotates a full 360 degrees so you can keep the nozzle angled correctly through corners and tight spaces.
