Full-frame hybrid camera

The Nikon Z 6II is a full-frame mirrorless hybrid designed for creators who need both high-resolution stills and capable 4K UHD video in one body. Its 24.5MP BSI sensor delivers strong low-light performance, while dual EXPEED 6 processors enable fast continuous shooting and responsive autofocus.

Action shooters and hybrid creators

This camera suits photographers capturing fast action at up to 14 frames per second and videographers recording 4K UHD at 30p with full pixel readout. It is not for buyers who require higher frame-rate 4K video or greater buffer capacity for extended bursts beyond what the dual processors provide.

273-point hybrid AF system

The 273-point hybrid autofocus system delivers quick subject acquisition and tracking across the frame. Dual card slots accepting CFexpress/XQD and UHS-II SD media add workflow flexibility and backup security for critical shoots.

Questions about this item

Does the box include a CFexpress or XQD card, or do I need to buy one separately?

The camera accepts CFexpress Type B and XQD cards in one slot and UHS-II SD cards in the other. No memory card is included, so you must purchase at least one separately.

Should I choose the 1659 P model over another Z 6II variant?

The 1659 P is the only Z 6II model listed here; there are no alternative versions or capacities to compare.

What does the 14 fps burst rate mean when I am shooting RAW files?

Dual EXPEED 6 processors give 3.5× more buffer capacity than the original Z 6, letting you sustain 14 fps for longer bursts in RAW or JPEG.
