Classic Design Meets Z Series Tech

The Nikon Z fc is a DX-format mirrorless camera with a 20.9MP CMOS sensor and Expeed 6 engine. It pairs retro-styled tactile dials with a 3.0-inch vari-angle monitor for flexible composition. The bundle includes the FTZ II mount adapter, a 64GB SDXC card, extra battery, charger kit, bag, strap, screen protector, cleaning kit, body cap and eyecup. It suits enthusiasts and creators who want classic handling with modern imaging performance.

Sustained Creative Sessions

The DX sensor and wide Z mount gather ample light for clean results up to ISO 51,200, expandable to 204,800, keeping noise controlled during extended low-light shooting. Full-time Eye-Detection AF maintains focus on subjects while recording 4K video or capturing bursts. The vari-angle screen supports comfortable framing from high or low angles over long sessions. An extra battery and charger kit are included to keep the camera powered through prolonged use.

Upgrade From Fixed-Lens Or Older Systems

Photographers moving up from compact cameras or smartphones gain interchangeable Z-mount lenses plus F-mount compatibility via the FTZ II adapter. The jump is worth it when you need larger sensor quality, manual exposure dials and a flip-out screen for vlogging or vertical content. Buyers who require a full-frame sensor, dual card slots or built-in image stabilisation will need a different model. The bundled 64GB card covers immediate storage needs for stills and 4K footage.

Questions about this item

How much heat or noise does the 20.9MP DX sensor produce during long video sessions?

The camera uses a passive cooling design with no internal fan, so it runs silently. Extended 4K recording will warm the body, but the magnesium-alloy chassis dissipates heat without throttle-down in normal indoor temperatures.

Which lenses can I attach straight away using the included FTZ II adapter?

The FTZ II adapter connects any Nikon F-mount lens to the Z mount, preserving autofocus and aperture control on AF-P, AF-S and most AF-I types; older screw-drive lenses mount but focus manually.

Will my existing F-mount glass cover the DX sensor without vignetting?

Full-frame F-mount lenses project an image circle larger than the DX format, so they work with no vignetting and give a 1.5× crop factor; DX-designated F lenses match the sensor natively.
