High-resolution mirrorless body for detail work

The Nikon Z7 packs a 45.7MP FX-format BSI CMOS sensor and EXPEED 6 processing into a compact mirrorless chassis. It records UHD 4K30 video with N-Log and 10-bit HDMI output. A 493-point phase-detect AF system and 5-axis in-body vibration reduction support both stills and motion capture.

Simple body-only setup with fixed feature set

Mount a Z-mount lens, insert a charged battery and memory card, then power on to begin shooting. The 3.2-inch 2.1m-dot tilting touchscreen and 3.6m-dot EVF provide composition options. Buyers needing built-in flash, dual card slots or a vertical grip will need a different camera.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the 45.7MP sensor and 493-point AF are performing correctly after first use?

Take a still at ISO 64 and inspect fine detail at full magnification; then track a moving subject and confirm focus locks across the frame.

The listing says body only — what ships in the box and what must I purchase separately?

The camera body, rechargeable battery, charger, strap, body cap and eyepiece are included; a Z-mount lens and XQD card are not.
