14 AWG SJT conductor capacity

The 14 AWG SJT three-conductor wire handles standard office and peripherals loads such as monitors, printers and PC power supplies within the connector rating. Total draw across the three receptacles must stay within the NEMA 5-15P plug limit, so high-draw appliances like heaters or large laser printers should not be combined on one splitter. The cord provides no additional circuit protection beyond the upstream breaker.
