This five-foot Category 6 patch cable uses four twisted pairs of 24 AWG stranded bare copper inside a blue PVC jacket. RJ45 plugs on both ends carry 50 micron gold-plated contacts and meet the TIA/EIA-568-C.2 standard verified by UL and ETL. The wiring follows the T568B pinout and the assembly is RoHS compliant.

Snagless boots protect the locking tabs

Molded bubble boots cover each RJ45 connector to stop the locking tabs from catching or breaking during routine moves. Unshielded twisted-pair construction keeps the cable flexible for tight routing behind desks or through cable-management channels. The 24 AWG stranded conductors tolerate repeated bending without work-hardening.

Check port spacing and required length

Measure the distance between your router, switch, patch panel or modem and the device you are connecting to confirm five feet provides enough slack. Verify that both ports accept standard RJ45 plugs and that no keyed or proprietary jack is in use. The cable is not shielded, so avoid running it parallel to high-current power cables over long distances.
