Nippon Labs Cat 6A UTP Cable

The Nippon Labs 60CAT6A-20WT is a 20 ft Cat 6A unshielded twisted-pair patch cable with RJ45 connectors on both ends. It is built for 10 Gigabit Ethernet links up to 100 metres and operates at a minimum frequency of 500 MHz. The white CM-rated PVC jacket houses 24 AWG stranded pure copper conductors wired to the T568B standard. Gold-plated contacts and snagless moulded boots protect the connection.

Upgrade from Cat 5e or Cat 6

This cable replaces Cat 5e or standard Cat 6 runs when 10 Gigabit Ethernet throughput is required over copper. The 500 MHz rating and improved crosstalk suppression support 10,000Base-T speeds that older categories cannot guarantee. The jump is worth it when network hardware and switch ports are already 10 GbE-capable and the link distance stays within the 100 metre channel limit.

Suited for 10 GbE patching.

The cable suits installers wiring servers, routers, switches or NAS units in home labs, offices or rack cabinets where unshielded Cat 6A meets code. Builders who need shielded or outdoor-rated cable, or who require lengths beyond the 100 metre channel maximum, should look at a different product.
