Two-foot Cat6A patch cable

This orange Cat6A UTP cable measures two feet and terminates in RJ45 plugs on both ends. It is built for 10 Gigabit Ethernet links up to 100 metres and suits short runs between a switch, router, server or desktop in a rack or on a bench.

Booted gold-plated connectors

Each RJ45 plug carries 50 micron gold-plated contacts and a moulded strain-relief boot with a snagless profile. The CM-rated PVC jacket protects the four-pair 24 AWG stranded pure copper conductors while the boots guard the latch during frequent reconnection.

500 MHz minimum frequency

The cable is specified to operate at a minimum of 500 MHz and carries UL and ETL verification to the TIA/EIA standard. That frequency rating determines whether the link can sustain 10 000Base-T throughput over the full 100 metre channel without excess crosstalk or return loss.
