50-foot Cat 6A UTP patch cable

This 50-foot Cat 6A UTP cable uses 24 AWG stranded pure copper conductors with RJ45 connectors on both ends. It is built for 10 Gigabit Ethernet links up to 100 meters and operates at a minimum frequency of 500 MHz. The CM-rated PVC jacket and T568B wiring suit standard indoor network runs.

10 Gigabit headroom and 550 MHz rating

The cable supports 10Base-T, 100Base-T, 1000Base-T and 10,000Base-T Ethernet with a 550 MHz bandwidth rating. Crosstalk suppression keeps the signal clean at high data rates and the construction handles heat dissipation for Power over Ethernet loads. At 50 feet it leaves ample margin inside the 328-foot channel limit.

Upgrade from Cat 5e or standard Cat 6

Moving to this Cat 6A cable adds 10 Gigabit Ethernet capability and higher bandwidth than Cat 5e or basic Cat 6 links. The jump is worth it when you need 10G speeds over copper or want better PoE thermal performance. It is not for runs that exceed 100 meters or installations that require shielded cable.
