Nippon Labs Cat 6A 5 ft cable

This 5 ft Cat 6A UTP patch cable uses 24 AWG stranded pure copper conductors with gold-plated RJ45 contacts. It is built for 10 Gigabit Ethernet links up to 100 meters and operates at a minimum frequency of 500 MHz. Molded strain-relief boots and snagless molds protect the connectors during repeated insertion. The cable meets TIA/EIA standards verified by UL and ETL and is RoHS compliant.

Ideal for short 10 GbE runs

The 5 ft length suits rack-to-panel links, switch-to-server connections or desktop drops where a full 100 metre channel is not required. It supports 10Base-T, 100Base-T, 1000Base-T and 10,000Base-T signalling over copper. Installers who need shielded cable for high-EMI environments or longer single-cable spans beyond 5 ft should select a different construction.

Handles 10 GbE with 500 MHz headroom

The 550 MHz rated bandwidth provides margin above the 500 MHz Cat 6A minimum for clean 10,000Base-T throughput. Crosstalk suppression and improved heat dissipation support PoE loads on all four pairs. At 5 ft the cable adds negligible insertion loss to a 100 metre channel budget. It cannot extend a link past the 100 metre (328 ft) standard limit on its own.
