6 ft Cat6A patch cable for 10 GbE runs

This 6-foot Cat6A UTP patch cable carries 10 Gigabit Ethernet over copper up to 100 metres. It uses 24 AWG stranded pure copper conductors and RJ45 plugs with 50 micron gold-plated contacts. The grey CM-rated PVC jacket meets TIA/EIA, UL, ETL and RoHS requirements. Wiring follows the T568B standard for broad equipment compatibility.

Thermals noise and power draw in normal use

As a passive copper cable it draws no power and produces no noise or heat of its own. The 24 AWG stranded construction and UTP design aid heat dissipation in Power over Ethernet applications. Operating at a minimum 500 MHz frequency, it maintains signal integrity without active cooling. No fan, radiator or external supply is involved.

Upgrade from Cat5e or Cat6 links

Replaces Cat5e or standard Cat6 patch cords when 10,000Base-T throughput or 550 MHz bandwidth headroom is needed.
