Cat 7 shielded cable for Gigabit LANs

This 25 ft Cat 7 patch cable uses 26AWG stranded pure copper conductors with double shielding and an overall braided screen. The SSTP construction meets 600 MHz transmission requirements over 100 meters. RJ45 plugs carry 50 micron gold-plated contacts and molded strain-relief boots for a secure fit. It is UL and ETL verified to TIA/EIA standards and RoHS compliant.

Upgrade from Cat 6 when noise immunity matters

Cat 7 specifies stricter crosstalk and system-noise limits than Cat 6, making the jump worthwhile in electrically noisy racks or long runs near power cables. The four individually foil-shielded pairs plus the outer braid suppress alien crosstalk that can degrade Gigabit Ethernet throughput. If the existing Cat 6 links run error-free, the extra shielding brings no measurable gain.

Fits standard RJ45 ports on PCs, servers.

The T568B wiring and shielded RJ45 connectors work with any Gigabit Ethernet port without configuration. The CM-rated PVC jacket is approved for in-wall residential runs, while the booted plugs protect the latch during frequent patch-panel changes. The double-shielded design does not require special grounding hardware beyond the shielded ports already present on managed switches.
