Cat7 SSTP 600 MHz patch cable

This four-foot Cat7 cable uses individually shielded twisted pairs inside an overall braided shield (SSTP). It is rated for 600 MHz bandwidth and wired to the T-568B standard with RJ45 plugs on both ends. The 26 AWG stranded pure copper conductors have 50 micron gold-plated contacts and a CM-grade PVC jacket. It is UL and ETL verified to TIA/EIA specifications and RoHS compliant.

Suited for short Gigabit runs with full shielding

Builders who need a short, fully shielded link between a switch, router or wall jack and a desktop, server or NAS will appreciate the double shielding and gold contacts. The four-foot length keeps slack to a minimum in rack or desk setups. Installers who require longer horizontal runs, outdoor burial ratings or plenum-rated jackets should look at something else.

600 MHz headroom over four feet

At this length the cable comfortably handles Gigabit Ethernet and 10 Gigabit Ethernet up to the 100 metre specification limit. The 600 MHz rating provides margin for alien crosstalk in dense bundles. Performance beyond the rated frequency or over distances exceeding 100 metres is not supported by the Cat7 specification.
