Cat8 25 ft shielded patch cable

This Cat8 Ethernet cable runs 25 ft and uses 24 AWG shielded twisted-pair construction with gold-plated RJ45 connectors on both ends. It is rated for 2000 MHz bandwidth and supports data rates up to 40 Gbps for 25GBASE-T and 40GBASE-T links. The green PVC jacket is CM rated and built for indoor or outdoor installation. Backward compatibility extends to Cat5, Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a and Cat7 equipment.

Thermals noise and power in normal use

As a passive copper cable it generates no heat and draws no power of its own, so it adds nothing to system thermals or acoustic load. The S/FTP shielding with individual foil and overall braid suppresses alien crosstalk and EMI, keeping signal integrity stable on long runs near power lines or in dense racks. No active components mean zero fan noise or electrical consumption.

Build quality connectors and daily handling

The cable uses stranded bare copper conductors, aluminum foil per pair, a steel braid overall shield and a flexible PVC outer jacket. Molded strain-relief boots and snagless push tabs protect the latch during repeated plug cycles. Gold-plated contacts at 50 µm resist oxidation in patch-panel or wall-plate environments. The construction suits rack-to-server links, PoE devices, consoles, NAS units and outdoor camera mounts.
