Cat8 cable for high-speed networking

This Cat8 Ethernet cable supports bandwidth up to 2000 MHz and data rates up to 40 Gbps, making it suitable for 25GBASE-T and 40GBASE-T networks. It uses 26 AWG stranded pure copper conductors with individual foil shielding on each pair plus an overall braid shield. The RJ45 connectors feature 50 µm gold-plated contacts and a snagless strain-relief boot. It is fully backward compatible with earlier category cables.

Passive cable runs cool and silent

Because the cable is a passive copper assembly, it draws no power and produces no heat or noise during operation. The double shielding — foil around each twisted pair and a braid over all four pairs — suppresses alien crosstalk and electromagnetic interference without active components. The PVC jacket protects the conductors whether the cable is routed indoors or exposed to outdoor weather. No fan, power supply or configuration is required.

Shielded connectors and flexible jacket suit daily

The metal-shielded RJ45 plugs have a soft flex push tab that eases insertion and removal in tight ports, while the molded strain relief prevents the cable from kinking at the connector. At 3 ft the length works well for patch panels, wall plates or direct device-to-device links. The green PVC jacket is rated for in-wall and outdoor use, so the same cable can bridge a router to a switch inside or run to an exterior access point.
