3 ft Cat8 patch cable

This three-foot Cat8 patch cable uses 30 AWG stranded pure copper conductors and U/FTP pair shielding to deliver up to 40 Gbps at 2000 MHz. It terminates in RJ45 plugs with 50 µm gold-plated contacts and a CM-rated PVC jacket. The slim profile suits tight routing in racks, walls or behind equipment. Backward compatibility extends to earlier category cables.

Thermals noise and power

As a passive copper cable it generates no heat, draws no power and produces no acoustic noise during operation. The foil-shielded pairs and metal-shielded connectors suppress alien crosstalk and EMI without active components. Gold-plated contacts maintain low contact resistance over repeated mating cycles. No external power supply or cooling is required.
