This 35-foot Cat8 Ethernet cable uses 24 AWG copper conductors with S/FTP shielding to deliver up to 40 Gbps bandwidth at 2000 MHz. It is built for home and small-enterprise networks that need high-speed wired links between routers, switches, servers, NAS devices, game consoles and PoE equipment.

Capacity and headroom

The cable supports 25GBASE-T and 40GBASE-T applications while remaining fully backward compatible with Cat5, Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a and Cat7 hardware. It handles 10 Gbps and 25 Gbps links comfortably; 40 Gbps runs are limited to the shorter channel lengths defined by the Cat8 standard, so very long single-cable spans may not reach the top rate.

Gold-plated snagless connectors

Each end carries a 50 µm gold-plated RJ45 plug with a metal-shielded housing, molded strain relief and a soft-flex push tab for easy lock and unlock. The snagless boot prevents tab breakage during routing through tight spaces, and the CM-rated PVC jacket is suitable for indoor and outdoor installation.
