This 50 ft Cat8 patch cable uses 24 AWG stranded copper conductors with S/FTP shielding to reach 2000 MHz bandwidth and 40 Gbps transfer rates. Gold-plated RJ45 connectors and a CM-rated PVC jacket complete the link. It is built for indoor or outdoor runs that demand the highest copper-category performance currently standardised.

Backward-compatible RJ45 drop-in

The RJ45 ends plug directly into any existing Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a or Cat7 port, so the cable works with current routers, switches, consoles, NAS boxes and PoE gear without adapter changes. Shielded connectors and snagless boots protect the latch during frequent moves. No tooling or special terminations are required beyond a standard keystone or wall plate.

40 Gbps headroom for 25GBASE-T and 40GBASE-T
