Ten-pack Cat 8 cables

This ten-pack supplies ten 7 ft Cat 8 patch cords for wiring multiple endpoints in a rack, office or home lab. Each cable uses 24 AWG stranded pure copper conductors with individual foil shielding and an overall braid shield. RJ45 plugs carry 50 µm gold-plated contacts and a snagless, strain-relieved boot. The PVC jacket is CM rated.

Upgrade from Cat 5e, Cat 6 or Cat 6A

The cables operate at 2000 MHz and support up to 40 Gbps, enabling 25GBASE-T and 40GBASE-T links where older categories stop at lower frequencies. Backward compatibility means they drop into existing Cat 5e, Cat 6, Cat 6A or Cat 7 ports without re-termination. The jump is worth it when 10 Gbps links saturate or when new 25 Gbps and 40 Gbps switches arrive.

Build integration

Shielded S/FTP construction rejects alien crosstalk in dense bundles, freeing the installer from separation rules that unshielded cables demand. Gold-plated contacts resist oxidation in humid cabinets, and the soft-flex push tab speeds moves and changes. The 7 ft length reaches typical patch-panel-to-switch runs without excess slack.
