60ft Active Optical HDMI Cable

This 60ft Nippon Labs cable uses fiber optic technology to deliver HDMI signals over long distances without external power. It supports 4K resolution at 60Hz with 18Gbps bandwidth and 4:4:4 chroma subsampling. Gold-plated connectors resist corrosion and are marked for directional installation from source to display.

Installers needing long 4K runs

The active optical design maintains signal integrity at lengths where copper cables fail, making it suited for commercial, studio or residential runs between devices and displays. Buyers who need bidirectional connectivity or a cable that works without a defined source-to-display direction should look elsewhere. The one-way design requires correct orientation during installation.

18Gbps bandwidth at 60ft

The 18Gbps specification determines support for 4K 60Hz 4:4:4 and HDR content over the full 60ft length. If the source or display requires higher bandwidth than 18Gbps, this cable cannot pass that signal. The directional connectors and fiber construction fix the maximum capability at this throughput.

Questions about this item

What diameter and connector type does this 60ft active optical HDMI cable need for routing and mounting?

The cable has a 4.7mm outer diameter and uses standard HDMI male connectors on both ends, so it fits typical HDMI ports and tight conduit runs.

How do I install this directional AOC cable correctly, and which step is often missed?

Connect the end marked "source" to your player or PC and the end marked "display" to the TV or monitor; reversing them gives no picture.

What maintenance or replacement will this fiber-optic HDMI cable need over time?

The gold-plated connectors resist corrosion, the fiber core does not degrade, and no external power supply is required, so no routine maintenance is needed.
