Compact Waterproof Speaker

The No Sew red Bluetooth shower speaker delivers 3 watts of audio from a 2 inch driver in a sealed plastic cabinet. A detachable suction cup mounts the 85 mm square unit to any flat surface for hands free listening in wet environments. The 180 gram body charges through a Type C port and runs for about 6 hours on the internal 3.7 V 600 mAh battery.

Indoor Outdoor Listening

Suits anyone who wants music or calls in the shower, by the pool or on a boat without worrying about splashes. The built in microphone handles phone conversations while the touch controls manage playback and volume. Buyers who need stereo separation, higher output for large rooms or a ruggedised chassis for dusty worksites should consider other form factors.

Battery Runtime Decides

The single specification that determines suitability is the 6 hour playback time at normal volume. If daily use exceeds that span between charges the speaker will fall short, while shorter sessions fit comfortably within the rated endurance.

Questions about this item

How do I attach the suction cup so it actually stays on wet tile?

Press the cup firmly onto a clean, flat surface and push the centre until the air is expelled; the 85 mm diameter base needs full contact to hold the 180 g speaker.

What part will wear out first and need replacing?

The 600 mAh 3.7 V battery is rated for roughly 6 hours per charge; after several hundred cycles runtime will drop and the cell is not user-replaceable.

At what volume does the 3 W driver start to distort during a long shower?

Near maximum output the 2-inch driver compresses bass and the cabinet resonates, so keeping volume below 80 % avoids audible clipping on sustained playback.
