90-Degree Elbow for Piping

This Nomaco Kflex elastomeric elbow fits 3/4-inch tube and 1/2-inch pipe insulation. The NBR/PVC body is coloured black and shaped for a tight 90-degree turn on ducts, tanks or piping runs. It is supplied new and ready for immediate installation.

Temperature range and R-value headroom

The fitting handles continuous service from minus 297 degrees F up to 220 degrees F, covering most commercial refrigeration and heating circuits. Its nominal R-value of 5.3 provides consistent thermal resistance across the elbow, though extreme cryogenic or high-temperature processes may require additional insulation layers.

Replaces damaged or missing elbows

Use this elbow to replace cracked, compressed or missing sections on existing NBR/PVC insulated lines. The jump is worth it when the original fitting has lost integrity or when a new 90-degree turn is added to a compatible pipe size. It does not suit larger diameters or different insulation materials.

Questions about this item

Will the 3/4 in wall-thickness elbow sit flush against my existing 1/2 in pipe insulation?

The fitting is made for 1/2 in pipe size with a 3/4 in insulation wall so it aligns with standard 1/2 in pipe insulation sleeves.

How can I confirm the NBR/PVC elbow is performing at the rated 5.3 R-value after installation?

Measure the surface temperature on the black elastomeric surface; it should stay close to ambient across the -297 to 220 °F service range when the system is running.

Does the 801-LRE-068068 pack include adhesive or tape, or must I buy them separately?

The box contains only the pre-formed 90-degree black elastomeric elbow; compatible adhesive or vapor-barrier tape is sold separately.
