Questions about this item

What does the UL 94 rating and 25 flame spread index mean for fire safety?

The fitting insulation carries a UL 94 listing and a 25 flame spread index, indicating it meets plenum-rated fire performance requirements for use in air-handling spaces.

What pipe size and outside diameter does this tee fitting insulation cover?

It is designed for a 2 1/2 inch pipe size with a 2 7/8 inch tube outside diameter and a 3/4 inch wall thickness in a tee form.

How is the unslit insulation installed on an existing tee fitting?

The unslit design requires the tee fitting to be disconnected so the insulation can be slid over the pipe ends before the fitting is reassembled and sealed.
