Sustainable printer paper for everyday use

Elementree paper supplies 500 sheets of 8.5 x 11 letter-size stock made from sawmill waste chips rather than whole trees. The pulping process yields 50 percent more paper from the same wood input while using 47 percent less water. Acid-free construction supports archival permanence for records that must last.

Check printer compatibility and storage space

Verify that your laser or inkjet device accepts standard letter sheets and uncoated 20 gsm media before ordering. Confirm shelf or drawer room for a ream measuring 9 inches wide by 11.50 inches long. The natural white shade resembles paperback book pages and may differ from brighter office stocks.

Fits home, school and office workflows

High opacity limits show-through so double-sided printing reduces overall sheet consumption. Suitable for emails, reports, presentations, research and class assignments on both laser and inkjet hardware. FSC certified wood fibres back the environmental claims without requiring a dedicated recycling bin.

Questions about this item

Does the ream include 500 sheets of 8.5 x 11 paper or must anything else be purchased separately?

The ream contains 500 sheets of 8.5 x 11 paper and nothing else is required.

How do I decide between the 20 lb weight and the 20 gsm figure shown in the specifications?

Both refer to the same lightweight stock; 20 lb is the standard US basis weight while 20 gsm is the metric equivalent listed by the supplier.

What does the 47% less water claim mean when the paper is actually used in a printer?

It reflects the manufacturing process that uses efficient hydropower and sawmill waste chips, so the environmental saving occurs before the paper reaches your machine.
