Nortel M7310 business telephone

The Nortel M7310 is a multi-line desk telephone built for offices that run a Norstar Integrated Communications System. It provides a two-line by 16-character LCD window with soft keys, a built-in headset jack and a speakerphone for hands-free calls.

Suited to Norstar users needing line appearances

This phone suits staff who need quick access to many lines and features on a Norstar platform. Buyers who require VoIP SIP registration, colour displays or wireless DECT mobility should look at a different product because this model is designed only for the proprietary Norstar environment.

Programmable buttons expand daily workflow

Ten programmable line or feature buttons and twelve dual-function memory buttons give one-touch access to 24 additional functions or autodial numbers. The dedicated feature, hold and volume keys plus conference, transfer, paging and intercom functions let users manage calls without navigating menus.

Questions about this item

What phone system must I already have for the Nortel M7310 to register and operate?

The phone requires a Norstar Integrated Communications System; it will not function on standard analogue lines, SIP platforms or other proprietary PBXs.

Can I keep my existing analogue handsets on the same Norstar system while adding this M7310?

Yes, the M7310 connects to a Norstar digital station port, so analogue devices on separate analogue ports continue to work independently.

How do I confirm the 2-line by 16-character LCD is displaying correctly after installation?

Pick up the handset; the screen should show the current time, date and any voicemail indicator without additional programming.
