Notrax 551M0003YL Ramp Edge outdoor rug, 3/4 in, nitrile rubber, yellow

Ramp Edge Outdoor Rug

The Notrax 551M0003YL is a nitrile rubber outdoor rug designed for areas that need a ramped transition. Its 3/4 in thickness bridges height differences while providing a stable walking surface. The yellow colour increases visibility in low-light conditions. It suits entrances, patios and work zones where tripping hazards must be reduced.

Replaces Flat Mats And Loose Tiles

Flat mats can curl at the edges and create new trip points, while loose tiles shift under foot traffic. This ramped edge stays fixed and maintains a continuous slope from floor level to the mat surface. The upgrade is worth it when wheeled equipment, trolleys or heavy foot traffic cross the threshold daily. It also removes the need for separate threshold strips.

Sustained Load Behaviour

The nitrile rubber construction resists oil, grease and common chemicals without breaking down. Raised surface channels drain liquids and debris, keeping the anti-slip texture effective during prolonged wet exposure. The material meets DOC FF1-70 and Critical Radiant Flux Class 1 ratings for fire performance. Weight of 2.2 helps the rug stay in place without mechanical fastening.
