Standalone sampler for beatmaking
The Novation Circuit Rhythm is a self-contained groovebox that records, slices and resamples audio directly on the hardware. Eight sample tracks each hold 32-step patterns that can be chained to 256 steps per track. Grid FX add lo-fi tape, stutter and beat-repeat effects for live performance. A rechargeable battery gives up to four hours of mobile operation.
Suits producers wanting a portable all-in-one
Musicians who need to capture ideas away from a computer will appreciate the built-in sampling, sequencing and effects. The bundle adds monitoring headphones, a 32GB card and two MIDI cables for immediate use. Buyers who require multi-track audio recording, extensive plugin hosting or a traditional DAW timeline should consider a computer-based setup instead.
Eight tracks with 256-step chaining capacity
The decisive specification is the sequencer architecture: eight independent sample tracks, each offering 32 steps that link into 256-step patterns. This structure determines how many layered parts and how much pattern length are available for a complete arrangement without a computer.

Questions about this item
How do I load samples onto the Circuit Rhythm using Novation Components?
Connect the unit to a computer via USB, open Novation Components in a browser, then drag samples onto the 32 GB memory card shown in the library view; eject safely before unplugging.
What part of the bundle will need replacement after heavy daily use?
The built-in rechargeable battery is rated for about four hours per charge and will eventually hold less capacity, so plan to replace it when run-time drops noticeably.
How many chained steps can a single track reach before the sequencer loops?
Each of the eight sample tracks can chain its 32-step patterns up to a maximum of 256 steps before the pattern restarts.
