What this camera does

The NShi Mini WiFi Camera captures 1080P video through a 155 degree pinhole lens and streams it to a smartphone for live viewing. It records when motion is detected and switches to infrared night vision automatically in low light. A magnetic base lets it attach quickly to metal surfaces for discreet placement.

Who should consider it and who should not

Renters or homeowners wanting a compact indoor camera they can move without tools will find the magnetic mount convenient. Buyers who need weatherproof outdoor housing, continuous recording without motion gaps, or a wider field of view should consider other options. The camera suits single-room monitoring rather than whole-property coverage.

The spec that decides fit

The 155 degree viewing angle determines how much of a room the camera can see from a single position. If that angle covers the target area from the chosen mounting spot, the camera works; if the space requires a broader perspective, a different device is needed.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 1080P version or a lower-resolution model?

The camera records at 1080P full HD, giving clear detail for home monitoring; no lower-resolution variant is listed.

What does the 155° lens actually cover in a room?

The 155 degree pinhole lens provides an ultra-wide field of view, capturing most of a typical room from a single corner placement.

Does the magnetic mount need a specific Wi-Fi standard to work?

The magnetic mount is purely physical; the camera connects to your smartphone over Wi-Fi for live viewing and motion alerts.
