U-Type Camera Mount Bracket

This beige aluminium bracket is designed for mounting dome-style security cameras indoors or outdoors. The U-shaped profile positions the camera away from the mounting surface to achieve the desired viewing angle. Heavy-duty weatherproof construction suits permanent exterior installations.

Check camera base and mounting surface

Verify that the camera housing has a compatible mounting pattern for the bracket's top plate. Ensure the wall or ceiling structure can support the combined weight of the bracket and camera. Confirm the 11.8 inch projection clears eaves, overhangs or nearby obstacles.

Replaces plastic or fixed-angle brackets

The aluminium build replaces less rigid plastic brackets that can flex in wind or degrade under UV exposure. The integrated cable channel replaces exposed wiring runs that risk weather damage or tampering. The jump is worthwhile when a stable, weather-resistant mount with hidden cabling is required for dome cameras.

Questions about this item

Does the 11.8 inch U-type bracket include the camera and mounting screws, or must they be purchased separately?

The bracket is sold on its own; the dome camera and any mounting screws for your wall surface are not included and must be sourced separately.

How do I decide whether the 11.8 inch aluminium U bracket suits my dome camera?

Choose this bracket if your camera housing fits a universal U-type mount and you need a heavy-duty, weatherproof aluminium arm that extends 11.8 inches from the wall.

What does the 11.8 inch reach mean once the bracket is installed on a real wall?

The camera will sit 11.8 inches out from the mounting surface, giving a clear field of view past eaves or overhangs while the hidden cable channel keeps wiring protected.
