Solar garden torch with 12 LEDs

The NShi solar torch uses twelve LEDs to produce a flickering flame effect rated at 200 lumens. It is intended for garden, yard or lawn decoration where a warm, flame-like glow is wanted without real fire. The unit charges by day and activates automatically at dusk via a built-in light sensor.

Solar charging limited by 0.88 W panel

The integrated 0.88 watt solar panel converts sunlight at 17 percent efficiency, requiring roughly eight hours of direct sun to fully charge the internal 800 mAh lithium-ion cell. Performance drops in cloudy conditions or shaded positions because the panel cannot gather enough energy to reach a full charge.

800 mAh battery gives up to 10 hours of light

A full charge powers the torch for about ten hours, covering a typical evening. The 3 watt draw and modest cell capacity mean the light will not last through very long winter nights or multiple consecutive overcast days without a sunny recharge period.

Questions about this item

What does the 200 lumen rating mean for actual garden brightness?

The 200LM output produces a soft, mood-enhancing glow from the 12 LEDs, designed to mimic dancing flames rather than provide strong area illumination.

How does the 0.88W solar panel with 17% efficiency charge the 800mAh battery in daily use?

The panel needs about 8 hours of direct sunlight to fully charge the 800mAh lithium-ion battery, which then powers the light for up to 10 hours at night.

What does the OFF / ON (blinking flame) switch actually control?

The switch selects between off and the flickering flame mode; a built-in light sensor then automatically activates the chosen mode at dusk and turns it off at dawn.
