What the NU NPSi-1 is

The NU NPSi-1 is a new business projector built around a DLP chip with a native 1920 x 720 resolution and a 16:6 aspect ratio. It delivers 3000 ANSI lumens of brightness and a 1800:1 contrast ratio, accepting a maximum 1080p signal for HD video playback. The unit weighs 15.2 lbs and uses a standard throw lens suited to typical meeting-room distances.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

This model suits presenters who need a bright, wide-format image for spreadsheets or video conferencing in lit rooms and who can work with the 1920 x 720 native pixel count. Buyers who want a true 1920 x 1080 native panel, higher contrast for dark-room cinema, or a short-throw lens for tight spaces should look at other options.

What the bundle changes

The included bundle adds the cables and mounting hardware needed to connect the projector to an HDMI source and secure it on a ceiling or table right away. This means the installer can complete setup in a single visit without sourcing separate accessories.

Questions about this item

What video source do I need to connect to the HDMI input to get a 1080p image?

Any device that outputs 1920 x 1080 over HDMI — a laptop, streaming stick, or media player — will be accepted and scaled to the 1920 x 720 DLP panel.

Will my older laptop with only a VGA port work with this projector?

Not directly; the unit only provides an HDMI input, so a VGA source requires an active VGA-to-HDMI converter.

How can I confirm the projector is delivering its rated 3000 ANSI lumens after setup?

Display a full-white test pattern in a darkened room; the image should measure near 3000 ANSI lumens with a 1800:1 contrast ratio.
