Vivitek DX813 DLP Business Projector

The Vivitek DX813 is a DLP business projector rated at 3600 lumens with a native 1024 x 768 resolution. It accepts 1080p HD video input and includes built-in speakers for convenient audio. Connectivity covers HDMI, VGA, USB and LAN for flexible installation. The unit is new and professionally tested.

Suited for meeting rooms

This model fits users who need high brightness for well-lit spaces and native XGA compatibility with legacy sources. Buyers requiring native widescreen resolution or wireless casting without extra hardware should look elsewhere.

Native 1024 x 768 XGA resolution

The fixed 1024 x 768 pixel array determines the sharpest image the projector can produce without scaling. All 1080p signals are downscaled to this grid, so text clarity and detail are bound to the XGA format.

Questions about this item

How often will the lamp in the DX813 need replacement under typical daily use?

Lamp life depends on the selected brightness mode; the DX813 does not publish a rated hours figure, so plan on a replacement cycle based on your own usage pattern.

What limits continuous operation of the DX813 during long presentations?

The 3600-lumen output and 6000:1 contrast are sustained by the DLP engine; thermal protection will throttle brightness if internal temperatures exceed safe limits.

How loud is the fan and how much heat does the DX813 produce when running all day?

Fan noise and heat output rise with brightness; the DX813 has no published dB or wattage figures, so expect typical DLP projector levels for a 3600-lumen unit.
