All-in-one podcast kit

The Numark F998 Podcast Bundle delivers a complete recording package built around a single-channel mixer and BM888 condenser microphone. It includes a desktop mic stand, headphones, XLR and 3.5 mm cables, a USB-C lead and a phone holder. The corded-electric mixer targets streamers, podcasters and home-studio creators who want everything in one box.

Single XLR input

The mixer provides exactly one XLR channel alongside USB connectivity, so only one microphone can be recorded at a time. Buyers needing to capture multiple voices or instruments simultaneously will need a different interface. The USB format carries the mixed output to a computer for streaming or recording software.

Built-in effects under load

Sixteen fixed background effects, seven podcast modes, four voice-changer presets and four utility functions such as denoise and voice-over are processed on the mixer itself. These features remain available during extended live sessions without taxing the host computer. The condenser’s cardioid pattern keeps off-axis sound rejection consistent over long recording periods.

Questions about this item

What does the 16 built-in background effects actually give me during a live stream?

The mixer provides 16 fixed sound effects you can trigger instantly while broadcasting, adding stingers or atmosphere without needing external software.

How does the single USB connection limit what I can record?

The USB link carries a summed stereo mix to the computer, so you capture the combined output of the microphone and any effects rather than separate multitrack channels.

What physical items come in the box that I need space for on my desk?

The bundle includes the F998 mixer, BM888 condenser microphone, a desktop mic tripod, headphones, a phone holder, XLR cable, two 3.5 mm cables and a USB-C cable.
