Passive Fiber Cable for SMF Links

This NVIDIA passive fiber cable connects single-mode fiber links using an MPO12 APC connector on one end and two MPO12 APC connectors on the other. It is built for high-density patching in data-centre and enterprise environments where space and signal integrity matter. The three-metre length suits rack-to-rack or row-to-row runs without active components.

Splits One Trunk into Two Channels

The Y-style breakout lets a single 12-fiber trunk serve two separate 12-fiber ports, reducing the number of trunk cables required. Installers need compatible MPO12 APC patch panels or cassettes on each side and clean, angled-polish ferrules to maintain low return loss. No transceivers or power are involved, so the link budget depends entirely on the connected optics and fiber plant.
