SKU CH-D2QT-NR6KG

A 10-metre passive single-mode fibre cable with an MPO12 APC connector splitting to two MPO12 APC ends

  • Single-mode fibre for long-distance links
  • 10-metre reach connects racks across the room
  • MPO12 APC connectors ensure low-return-loss mating
  • Splits one trunk into two 12-fibre branches

NVIDIA Passive Fiber Cable 10m SMF

This passive fiber cable connects single-mode fiber with MPO12 APC connectors across a ten metre length. The assembly splits one MPO12 APC end into two MPO12 APC terminations. It suits data-centre interconnects that require a Y-branch distribution.

Ideal for structured cabling with MPO12 APC

Builders needing different connector types or shorter runs should choose another assembly. The fixed ten metre length and split MPO12 APC design limit use in point-to-point links. Buyers requiring active signal conditioning or multimode fiber must select a different cable.

Questions about this item

What does the 10 m length mean when the cable is routed in a rack?

The 10 m span gives enough reach to connect equipment across adjacent cabinets without excess slack that would block airflow.

What does the MPO12 APC interface limit in a live link?

The MPO12 APC connectors support 12 fibres per ferrule and the angled polish keeps return loss low for single-mode runs.
