Nyrius ARIES Prime Wireless HDMI Kit

The Nyrius ARIES Prime NPCS549Q4 kit includes four transmitter and receiver pairs that wirelessly deliver uncompressed 1080p 3D video and digital audio from any HDMI source to a display. It targets home-theatre owners, presenters, and gamers who need cable-free placement without software or network configuration.

Replaces long HDMI cable runs

Each pair removes the need for in-wall or across-room HDMI cables up to 30 ft line-of-sight, carrying full 1080p 3D signals with zero latency. The upgrade is worth it when routing cables is impractical, when tripping hazards must be eliminated, or when source devices must stay mobile.

Limited to 1080p resolution and 30 ft range

The wireless link maxes out at 1080p and cannot pass 4K, HDR, or higher refresh-rate signals. Range drops below 30 ft when signals penetrate walls, ceilings, or floors, and the single HDMI input per transmitter prevents multi-source switching without manual cable changes.

Questions about this item

Does the transmitter need a separate power supply or does it draw power from the HDMI port?

The kit uses a plug-and-play setup with no software or Wi-Fi required; the transmitter connects via HDMI input and the receiver via HDMI output, so power arrangements follow the standard HDMI device practice for this model.

What is the correct pairing sequence for the four transmitter and receiver units to avoid signal crossover?

Power on one transmitter-receiver pair at a time, confirm the 1080p 3D video link is stable at up to 30 ft line of sight, then repeat for each remaining pair to keep channels separate.

Are the HDMI connectors on the transmitter and receiver replaceable if the ports wear out from frequent plugging?

The units are compact low-profile devices with fixed HDMI interfaces; the ports are not user-serviceable, so careful insertion and strain relief on cables will extend their usable life.
