What the M5 Smart Watch is and who it is for

The OEM Tools M5 is a new navy-blue smartwatch with a 0.96 inch colour display and a single-touch button. It pairs with Android 4.4 or iOS 9.0 devices through the Fitpro app to deliver all-day activity tracking, heart-rate monitoring and call or message vibration alerts. A replaceable TPU band and IP65 rating make it suitable for daily wear, hand-washing and rain.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

This watch fits users who want basic fitness metrics, sleep analysis, blood-pressure and blood-oxygen spot checks, plus a remote camera shutter within 10 metres. It is not for swimmers or anyone needing submersion protection beyond IP65. Buyers who require built-in GPS, onboard music storage, contactless payments or third-party app ecosystems will not find those functions here.

Capacity and headroom: what it handles

The internal battery provides roughly seven days on standby or three to five days of active use and recharges in about two hours via the included USB cable. Daily step, distance, calorie and heart-rate logging are well within its capability. Continuous real-time monitoring, high-frequency sensor sampling or extended exercise sessions without a recharge will exceed the available runtime.
