Executive task chair for desk work

The OIF 0280 is a black bonded-leather task chair built for daily office use. Its soft cushioned seat and padded T-bar arms are designed for all-day support. Five hooded casters provide smooth mobility across hard floors or low-pile carpet. The chair arrives ready to assemble and use as a single unit.

Build quality and daily adjustments

Black Soft-Touch bonded leather covers the seat and back for a professional appearance that resists wear. Pneumatic seat height adjustment raises the chair from 36 1/4 to 40 inches high. Tilt tension controls the rate of recline while tilt lock secures the upright position for focused posture. Fixed T-bar arms sit 19 5/8 inches apart.

Check your workspace before ordering

Verify the overall footprint of 26 3/8 inches wide by 25 3/8 inches deep fits your desk area. Ensure the height range suits your worksurface and that the 250 lbs weight capacity meets your requirement. Confirm the fixed arm spacing matches your preferred sitting width. Questions about this item

What tilt controls does the 0280 chair provide for reclining resistance?

The chair offers tilt tension to set recline resistance and a tilt lock that holds the seat fully upright for posture support.

What clearance is needed for the 19 5/8" arm spacing and 26 3/8" overall width?

Allow at least 26 3/8" of lateral space for the chair body; the fixed T-arms sit 19 5/8" apart so the user fits between them.

How is the pneumatic seat height adjusted on the OIF 0280 and what is the common mistake?

While seated, pull the height lever to raise or lower the 36 1/4" to 40" range; the mistake is pulling the lever without weight on the seat, which prevents smooth adjustment.
