What this webcam does and who it suits

The Olafssongs webcam captures 1920 x 1080 video over a USB 2.0 link. It is aimed at home workers, students and casual streamers who need a simple plug-in camera for video calls. The built-in dual microphone picks up speech from a distance of up to 10 metres. No extra drivers are required for basic operation.

Build, clip mount and cable length

The body is made from black ABS plastic measuring 63 by 48.3 by 76.3 millimetres. A spring-loaded clip grips the top of a monitor or laptop screen without tools. A fixed 150 centimetre cable reaches rear USB ports on most desks. The USB 2.0 plug supplies both power and data.

Check your setup before ordering

Verify that a free USB 2.0 Type-A port is available on the computer. Confirm the operating system supports UVC webcams for automatic recognition. Ensure the mounting surface is thick enough for the clip jaws to close securely. The fixed cable cannot be replaced or extended without an adapter.
