16.4FT Red COB LED Strip

This 24V COB LED strip delivers a continuous 16.4FT line of red light with no visible dots. Chip-on-board technology creates uniform illumination without a separate diffuser. The 8mm strip fits narrow channels and curved surfaces. A silicone sleeve protects the LEDs for indoor IP20 use.

Indoor accent and cove lighting

Suitable for under-cabinet, toe-kick, cove and signage projects that need smooth red lines on reflective surfaces. The peel-and-stick backing speeds installation on clean, flat substrates. Not suited for outdoor runs, wet locations or installations that require an IP65 rating.

2.45in cuttable segments

Each segment measures 2.45in (62.5mm) so the strip can be trimmed to exact lengths. The 5.5mm x 2.1mm barrel connector and included 22AWG pigtail simplify wiring to a 24V supply. Rated for 30000 hours L70 lifespan and 0-100% dimming.

Questions about this item

How often will the COB LED strip need replacement based on its rated lifespan?

The strip is rated for 30000 hours at L70, meaning light output drops to 70 % after that period under normal use.

What limits the maximum continuous run of this strip?

The maximum run is 16.4 ft (5 m); longer runs require separate power feeds to avoid voltage drop.

How much heat does the 24 V COB strip generate during all-day operation?

Chip-on-board design reduces heat buildup compared with standard LED tape, and the silicone sleeve helps dissipate warmth across the 8 mm strip width.
