DisplayPort-to-HDMI link

This 6 ft cable connects a DisplayPort source to an HDMI display. It carries both video and audio through male-to-male plugs. The 28 AWG conductors and foil-plus-braid shielding preserve signal quality over the full length.

Single-direction only

Suits users linking a PC or laptop with DisplayPort output to a monitor, projector or TV that accepts HDMI. It will not work for the reverse direction, so buyers needing HDMI source to DisplayPort display should look elsewhere.

4K-capable 1.2 to 1.4 bridge

Handles DisplayPort 1.2a input and converts to HDMI 1.4b output, supporting resolutions up to 1920 x 1200 and 1080p with 7.1-channel audio passthrough. The latching DisplayPort plug prevents accidental disconnection.

Questions about this item

Does the package include any adapters or is the DisplayPort-to-HDMI connection built into the cable itself?

The cable has a DisplayPort male plug on one end and an HDMI male plug on the other, so no separate adapter is required.

Should I choose a different length for a desktop setup versus a living-room TV?

This model is a 6 ft cable; measure the distance between your source and display to confirm the reach is sufficient.

The box says 4K support but the specs list 1920x1200 — what resolution will I actually get on a 4K monitor?

The cable supports up to 1920x1200 and 1080P; a 4K monitor will receive a 1080P or 1920x1200 signal over this link.
