  • Dual screens diffuse plosives for clearer vocals

  • Snap-ring tension keeps micro-weave nylon filters tight
  • C-clamp secures to most standard microphone shafts
  • 25 ft TRS cable connects microphone to audio gear

Dual-Screen Pop Blocker for Podcast & Vocal

The On-Stage ASFSS6GB mounts on a microphone stand to stop plosive consonants from colouring spoken-word tracks. Its two micro-weave nylon screens diffuse air bursts before they reach the capsule, making it a practical choice for podcasters, streamers and vocalists who record at close range. The clamp-and-gooseneck design works with most standard mic shafts, so setup takes seconds.

6-Inch Coverage and 11.5-Inch Gooseneck Reach

Each 6-inch diffuser spans the front of typical studio microphones, giving enough surface to catch strong plosives without shading the diaphragm. The coated brass gooseneck extends 11.5 inches from the clamp, letting you angle the screens precisely in front of the grille even when the stand is positioned low or off to one side.

25-Foot TRS Cable Sets the Placement Limit

A 25-foot 1/4-inch TRS male-to-female cable ships in the box, so the microphone can sit up to that distance from the interface or mixer. Beyond that length you would need an extension or a longer run, which adds connectors and potential signal loss. The fixed cable length therefore defines the maximum stand-to-interface span for this kit.

Questions about this item

Will the 11.5" coated brass gooseneck and C-clamp fit the microphone stand I already own?

The C-clamp fits most standard mic shafts, and the 11.5" gooseneck provides flexible positioning for your existing setup.

How can I verify the dual micro-weave nylon screens are filtering plosives correctly once installed?

Record a test track with hard 'P' and 'B' sounds; the dual-screen design should noticeably reduce popping artefacts in the playback.

Does the package include the 25' TRS 1/4" male-to-female cable, or must I buy it separately?

The 25' TRS 1/4" male-to-female interconnect cable is included in the box with the pop blocker.
