Sustained performance with Snapdragon 8 Gen1

The Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chipset uses a 4 nm process with an octa-core CPU layout of one 3.00 GHz Cortex-X2, three 2.50 GHz Cortex-A710 and four 1.80 GHz Cortex-A510 cores. The Adreno 730 GPU handles graphics workloads. This architecture aims to maintain throughput during extended sessions rather than only short bursts.

Questions about this item

How hot does the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 get during all-day use?

The Snapdragon 8 Gen1 runs at up to 3.00 GHz and may warm under sustained load, but the 6.7" LTPO2 AMOLED panel and aluminum frame help dissipate heat without active cooling.

Which SIM size does the dual-SIM tray accept?

The tray holds two Nano-SIM cards in dual stand-by mode, so you must already have Nano-SIMs from your carriers to use both lines.

Will my older 4G LTE SIM still connect on this phone?

Yes, the modem supports GSM, CDMA, HSPA, EVDO and LTE alongside 5G, so a legacy 4G SIM will register on the network.
