Product purpose

The Optimus F7508 is a 14 inch pedestal air circulator designed to move air across a room. It combines oscillation with a louver rotating function to distribute airflow over a wider area than a fixed fan head.

Ideal users and limits

This unit suits anyone wanting adjustable air movement with electronic speed selection and a choice of sleep or breeze modes. Buyers who need a longer run time than the seven hour automatic shut-off timer allows should look at alternative models.

Key specification

The fan head pivots through a 90 degree tilt range and uses a 14 inch blade driven by three electronic speeds. The LED display shows the active setting and the remote lets you change modes from across the room.

Questions about this item

Does the Optimus F7508 ship with the remote control and all mounting hardware, or must I buy the remote separately?

The Optimus F7508 includes the remote control and the pedestal base in the box; no extra purchase is required for basic operation.

Should I choose the 14-inch blade model or a larger size for a medium bedroom?

The Optimus F7508 is offered only with the 14-inch blade, so this is the single size available for the F7508.

How far does the 90-degree pivoting head actually move air across a room when the louver rotation and oscillation run together?

The head pivots 90 degrees vertically while the louver rotates and the unit oscillates horizontally, giving wide-area coverage from a single position.
