Enclosure for 2.5" SATA Drives

This Orico enclosure connects a single 2.5 inch SATA I/II/III hard drive or SSD to a USB 3.0 port. It accepts drives up to 6TB and 9.5mm thick. No AC adapter is required, making it a compact solution for expanding storage on a PC, laptop, router, PS4 or Xbox.

Tool-Free Portable Storage

The plug-and-play design suits users who want quick access to data on an existing SATA drive without tools or drivers. UASP support can raise transfer speeds to 5Gbps on compatible hosts. Builders needing multi-bay arrays, active cooling or an included power supply for larger drives should consider other form factors.

USB 3.0 Interface with UASP

The external connection is USB 3.0, delivering up to 5Gbps bandwidth. When the host also supports UASP, the protocol can perform up to 70% faster than standard USB 3.0 bulk-endpoint transfers. This single spec determines whether the enclosure meets your speed requirements.
