128 GB dual-connector flash drive

The Orico CB05 provides 128 GB of storage with both USB-A and USB-C plugs on a single metal swivel body. It is suited for anyone who moves files between older laptops, newer phones such as iPhone 15 or 16, tablets and desktop PCs without carrying an adapter. The drive weighs 0.05 kg and measures 57 mm by 14 mm by 12 mm, so it fits in a pocket or on the supplied lanyard.

Plug-and-play on Windows, Mac, Linux.

Insert either connector and the drive appears immediately; no driver or software install is required. The 360 ° rotating cover locks at 90 ° to protect both ports from dust and pocket lint. Write speeds reach 70 MB/s, so large transfers take longer than reads at 150 MB/s; plan extra time when filling the drive. The zinc-alloy casing resists scratches, but the swivel hinge can catch on tight port cut-outs.

Check your ports and file-system needs

Verify that the host device has either a standard USB-A socket or a USB-C port that supports USB mass storage; some phones only enable OTG after a settings change. The drive ships formatted for broad compatibility, but files larger than 4 GB will require reformatting to exFAT or NTFS. Capacity is fixed at 128 GB; buyers who need more space should consider the 256 GB variant.

Questions about this item

How do I verify the CB05 is delivering the 150MB/s read and 70MB/s write speeds after plugging it in?

Run CrystalDiskMark or a similar benchmark tool on a USB 3.0 port; the drive should show sequential read near 150MB/s and write near 70MB/s for large files.

What comes in the box with the CB05 and what must I buy separately?

The package includes the 128GB dual-connector drive, a 360° rotating zinc-alloy cover and a lanyard; no adapters or cables are required or supplied.

Which capacity should I choose among the 32GB, 64GB, 128GB and 256GB versions?

Pick 32GB for roughly 8k photos, 64GB for 16k photos or 200+ songs, 128GB for 40 hours of 1080P video, or 256GB for 80 hours of 1080P video.
