Questions about this item

What real-world speed does the USB 3.0 interface cap at on this drive?

The USB 3.0 interface delivers up to 150MB/s read and 70MB/s write, moving a 4GB file in about 27 seconds.

What are the exact dimensions I need to clear inside a tight port or case?

The metal body measures 57mm by 14mm by 12mm and weighs 0.05KG, so it fits alongside neighbouring ports.

How do I use the rotating cover correctly so the connector stays protected?

Swing the zinc-alloy cover 360° until it clicks at 90°; that locks the active port open and shields the other end from dust.
