Universal dual-port flash drive

The Orico CB05 128GB flash drive combines USB-A and USB-C connectors in a single silver zinc-alloy body. It works with Windows, Mac, Linux, Android and iPhone 15/16/17 devices without adapters. The 360° rotating cover locks at 90° to protect both ports from dust. A supplied lanyard clips to a keychain or bag to reduce the chance of loss.

Thermals noise and power draw

As a solid-state USB 3.0 device with no moving parts, the CB05 generates negligible heat and runs silently during transfers. Power is drawn directly from the host port, so no external supply is required. Sequential read reaches 150MB/s and write reaches 70MB/s, moving a 4GB file in roughly 27 seconds or 1000 photos in about 5 seconds.

Bundled accessories and software impact

The package includes a lanyard for secure carry; no software installation is needed on any supported platform. Plug-and-play operation means the drive is recognised instantly across operating systems. The 3-year manufacturer warranty covers the 128GB capacity model alongside 32GB, 64GB and 256GB variants.

Questions about this item

How do I plug the 360° rotating cover into a USB-C phone without damaging the port?

Align the USB-C side of the metal swivel body with the phone port, rotate the cover 90° until it locks, then insert straight in — forcing it at an angle bends the connector.

When will the 128GB drive need replacement if I write large video files daily?

Flash memory wears with write cycles; at up to 70MB/s sustained writes the NAND will reach its endurance limit sooner than light use, so plan to replace after several years of daily 40-hour 1080P video loads.

What speed bottleneck appears first during a long 150MB/s read session?

The metal casing can warm up during sustained transfers, causing the controller to throttle below the 150MB/s peak read rate to protect the components.
