8-in-1 GaN Charging Station

The Orico PDC25 is a compact purple power strip that turns a single wall outlet into four AC sockets, two USB-C ports and two USB-A ports. It uses 25 W GaN charging technology to power phones, tablets and laptops from a desktop or travel bag. The 5 ft flat cord reaches distant sockets without clutter. Ideal for students and professionals who need multiple devices charged at once.

Check outlet spacing and total load

Verify that the 45° flat plug fits behind your furniture; the plug body is only .43 inch thick. Ensure the combined draw of connected equipment stays within the strip’s rated capacity. The unit supplies up to 25 W from each USB-C port and 22.5 W from each USB-A port. No surge-protection rating is provided in the specifications.

Thermals noise and power draw

GaN circuitry runs cooler than traditional silicon, so the housing stays warm but not hot during normal multi-device charging. The strip has no fan, so operation is silent. Over-heat, over-current, over-voltage and short-circuit protections are built in. The compact body measures 3.82 x 3.07 x 1.26 inches, allowing airflow around the unit.

Questions about this item

Does the box include any USB cables or do I need to supply my own?

The power strip comes with four AC outlets, two USB-C and two USB-A ports built in; charging cables for your devices are not included and must be purchased separately.

Should I pick the purple model or one of the other colours for the best charging speed?

All colour variants — purple, white and black — share the same 25 W USB-C and 22.5 W USB-A output, so charging performance is identical regardless of colour.

Will the 25 W USB-C port actually deliver 25 W to my laptop, or is that a theoretical maximum?

Each USB-C port can supply up to 25 W when used alone; total output is shared across all active ports, so simultaneous charging reduces the power available to each device.
